Professional liability insurance policies are not standard forms. Each company’s policy provides differing coverages based on differing definitions of professional services. This online seminar will discuss the scope of coverage and examine coverages that brokers and policyholders often overlook. It also will explain why there are specific exclusions of the professional liability policy so that firms can be better aware of what to avoid in contract negotiations and practice management to minimize the possibility of a denial of coverage. The program will help design professionals and their clients understand the unique features of the professional liability policy and how to effectively transfer the risk of negligent performance when specifying professional liability insurance requirements.
