In July of 2022, the AIA published its new series of Digital Practice Documents. The new series tracks closely with current industry trends and may significantly disrupt the existing state of design practice. While the new documents and forms allow design professionals to increase the value of their firm’s digital data, they also present risks to firms unaware of the nuances of the data-sharing environment.
This webinar gives both a general overview of the suite of documents and looks closely at the possible BIM Exhibits as well as the value of a BIM Execution Plan. Using the AIA Digital Practice Documents means that the parties involved on a project know how models will be shared, used, and relied upon through a contractual BIM Exhibit.
