David Cook
MGU Canada & Capital Strategy Leader
David Cook is Victor’s MGU Canada and Capital Strategy Leader, responsible for the strategic direction of Victor’s Canadian underwriting business. He also co-leads the development and management of Victor’s underwriting capacity for the US and Canada.
Dave joined Victor Canada as an actuary in 1992 and has gained extensive industry knowledge in his more than 30 years with Victor. Prior to his current role, he was President of Victor Canada, and served in several senior leadership roles including Chief Actuary and Chief Underwriting Officer.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo and has been an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) since 1996.
